Drippy... or droppy

Yesterday I wrote about how much our weather has changed over the past week or so. And then I went out for a walk with Callie. I took a lot of watery photos.

Grape leaves, for example.
And grapes.

Little pink flowers.

Dead leaves.
And living ones.

  1. With that kind of photos, can you see a difference between the Canon and the latest Lumix?

  2. These were taken with the new(ish) Lumix, the TZ60. It is definitely better at macro shots, especially in lower light situations.

    1. I thought these photos were pretty good, but I had no way to know which camera you used. Since the Lumix is better in low light, you won't have to use the flash and I know you very seldom use it if ever.

    2. It's true, I really never use the flash.

  3. Nice photos! Is the grass in your back yard green now?

    1. No, the grass is still brown. And now they say it's going to be hot again starting this weekend. It's actually pretty nice having real summer weather. The grass will come back, and the garden can be watered. Life is good.

  5. My husband was a professional photographer when I met him. He gave me his old Nikon and told me the basics and I took off from there. I never wanted to take lessons, I like basic cameras with few bells and whistles and I like it not to be super automatic .. it is nice to be involved in the taking of the photo other than just pointing and shooting. He was like every good parent lol He praised every photo I took .. he was such a good man :)
