Bonnes vacances à tous les deux Hopefully both of you will get good weather We are leaving on saturday for 2 weeks for the mid-coast of Maine and heard that the price of lobsters is going down .
You are staying on our side bar favorites until you return Ken. Whenever that may be. Will you join us for dinner across the river in 2014 when we return to the Loire? Leon and Sue
Ken, I see that you can't totally kick the habit, even if it's just a sentence. And yes, Beaver, here in southern coastal Maine, where the weather has been quite nice this month, the price of lobster is down to around $4/pound.
oooh! I'm about to leave for a week in Vermont, hoping to snag some of that Maine lobster at $4/pound :)) Fortunately for our tomatoes, Elliot will still be home to water them ;))
Thank you for the confirmation wrt the lobsters Bob . I believe that the lobster festival @ Rockland will be held on the WE we will be heading back home but we will take the opportunity to but them from the other locations along the coast.
What a tease you are, Ken! I'll keep checking back periodically to see if you've given us a nod...
Meanwhile, I'll keep trying some of your past recipes and I will continue to study french so I might be able to keep up with all of you french teachers!
Hey everybody but Ken, we can keep this going even if Ken doesn't post (but I hope he will, if only occasionally). I want to wish everybody a very pleasant day today. I'm in Gettysburg to celebrate my mother's 92nd birthday. And to all you lucky travelers, bonne route!
I don't come by too often, but I will miss you. Maybe 1 post a week would be easier on you, and we wouldn't feel left out. Will Walt keep on posting? I love to read his "newsiness".
You're welcome.
ReplyDeleteI'm leaving this morning for southern France, hoping to find the heat that eluded me here in Paris.
Hope the weather will be kind to you in St-Aignan with all the yard work you have to do.
Again, bonnes vacances. But don't overdo it!
