It's exciting to think that today I'm going to do a bunch of things around the house and yard and not tell anybody about it! It's like keeping secrets. Heh heh heh.
We still can predict what you’re likely to be doing. Either this morning or this afternoon you’ll be walking yourself and the dog. You’ll probably do some cooking [I’m hungry]. You’ll look at the weather forecast. You’ll go up and down the stairs... Etc., etc.........
Just as long as we can come and say hello to you both when we come back to the Loire. Its always a bonus to visit an area where you've made friends. Until then, we will miss you Ken. Leon and Sue
Oh, Ken, we're all glad you're going to enjoy your day! I don't think I fully expressed how much I will miss reading your blog everyday-- not just because it's always full of interesting information, not just because it's about life in France, but because it's about YOU, and YOU I will sorely miss reading.
(and I'll miss our little group of commenters! oh my!)
Judy, no worries. People probably don't know that we knew each other 30 years ago but haven't seen each other since. I remember you clearly — you were independent, smart, and interesting. It's nice to be in touch still. I don't plan on quitting blogging.
Starman, « t'inquiètes », as the young people say in France.
Your blog is so well written. You must spend at least a couple of hours a day with it. Time for you to enjoy a break. (Merci de nous avoir prévenus et de ne pas avoir filé à l'anglaise.)
I'll miss your daily reports. As others said, I read daily, but can fully understand wanting some time away. While you're enjoying your vaction and not posting new and yummy recipes, perhaps I can catch up on reading your old ones, so it's all good. Bonnes vacances.
Petit cachottier!

LOL

ReplyDeleteAww, for both Ken and Judy- it's great to have friends who remember us when we were young and in a GOOD way.
