    1. Right. My research has revealed that this is the Château de Pancy, privately owned and not open to the public, in the village called Angely near Montréal in Burgundy. I erased the car's number plate number and put in the word Peugeot.

    2. I don't know, of course, whose car it was, but why display the license number? I also don't know who owns the Château de Pancy, but I'd kind of like to see it from the inside, and maybe live there myself. Never happen...

  2. Love this photo, but I wouldn't want to live in a castle without more windows. The brickwork is very nice.

    1. Evelyn, there are probably a lot of windows in the living space, which is not visible from the road -- just not in the old fortified towers. But I'm guessing.

    1. I'm not sure what you mean. But if you have tried recently to take a photo in any town or village in Europe or America without showing a car in it, you know that it is hardly possible. Cars are part of the décor.
