Houses festooned
with flowers
with flowers
This one is in Normandy, but right on the edge of Brittany, in the village called La Croixille, near the town of Fougères. France is decorated with flowers, especially geraniums, on every window ledge, balcony, and patio, from May through October.
Here's another one, this time a restaurant in the village of Pouillé in the Cher River Valley, between Saint-Aignan and Montrichard.
I've never seen the facade of a house filled to the brim with flowers. Everywhere. How can they do it? And the watering? They must depend on the rain a lot. It's a labour of love but it's so cheerful!
ReplyDeleteDoit-on en profiter de voir ces belles photos de fleurs pour dire : "vive les mariés" :-)
