Like this creature, I'll be flying today. Well, not exactly in the same way. My arms won't be tired when I arrive, but the rest of me will be exhausted. Leaving home to go home...
I'm at RDU (Raleigh-Durham airport in North Carolina) just finishing my lunch and waiting for the start of the boarding process for my flight to Paris CDG. So far, so good.
Our trips to NC overlapped! I was in MHC Oct. 6-14. The 11th and 12th were the 50th class reunion for the class of '69. Glenn and I spent most of our time visiting with friends. I had not been back in 3 years, and that was a sad time, for Kathy Hill Hamilton's funeral. But I had not seen many of my classmates since our 20th, the last reunion I attended, and there were a few people I had not seen since graduation! I had so much fun! Your trip looks fun as well!
Wishing you safe and peaceful travels.
ReplyDeleteSafe journey back... wellying it down here!
ReplyDeleteSave travels, Ken, and then: welcome back home :-)!
ReplyDeleteBon voyage, Ken. Il semble que la circulation des trains soit redevenue normale ou presque.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a safe and comfortable stretch of travel.
