Just one picture today: Callie's nose. Or snout. You can see the damage Bertie inflicted with the swipe of a paw.
It happened the day the cat and dog met up out in the little wood, as I described yesterday. I'm not sure the scratch did any good. It is slowly healing. Happy March!
I wonder if it has made any difference to their relationship.
ReplyDeletePoor Callie... at least it missed her eyes! The next behaviour, if they are going to tolerate each other will be to act like spinsters forced to share the same dining table at their boarding house in the English South coast. Near each other... but not in contact!
ReplyDelete2 of my cats have finally learned to tolerate each other after a few months of animosity....havent heard a growl in a while.....i think the older one finally realized the young new thing wasnt going anywhere....plus he grew to adult size & was harder to push around.....hopefully Callie will hesitate next time before giving chase!
ReplyDeleteOh my :(
ReplyDeleteSkiing totally off-poste Ken... we bought some Toulouse soss from our boucherie today.... never seen him do them before [I wonder if he's reading your blog]... no garlic, no red wine... just what look like very nice coarse mince soss... look forward to trying them.
ReplyDeleteoh no! poor Callie! have you taught Bertie to say "i'm not a sheep!" yet?
ReplyDelete;-)
Oh dear. If ever a look said "He hit me, Daddy, can I have a biscuit?"......
