DeleteThe green window looks modern. Imagine what amazement a person would have felt walking into the majesty of this cathedral with the light shining in the windows!
ReplyDeleteThe Gothic architecture in #2 and #8 is wonderful. Given the perspective in some of these windows, they must be 17th century.
ReplyDeleteThe colors and workmanship of those windows are spectacular, and your photos are brilliant, although I'm always faintly bemused by how much of religious art seems to involve inflicting grave bodily harm upon others.
