Yesterday at sunrise

We didn't really see the sun come up. It was too cloudy. But when it got a little lighter outside, we certainly saw the clouds. They looked threatening but they just blew on by.

  1. Nice outside views :)
Ken, because I'd like to start maybe using my friteuse à air for regular cooking, not just heating up, could you tell me... how long did you cook that chuck roast in there to brown it, and how big was it, and at what temperature? Thanks!

    1. I cooked the chuck roast at 350 10 minutes (if I remember correctly). Then I turned it over and set the temperature for 400 and cooked it for another 10 minutes. Remember, I was just browning it, because I was going to braise it in tomato sauce after the air-frying. The roast weighed not quite two pounds (850 grams). It was about 2 inches thick. Look at some of these recipes for air fryer chuck roast that I found on the web.

  2. Beautiful clouds. It's sunny here and there's lots of eclipse talk today. Both of our kids traveled to see it- daughter is in Paducah and son flew to Austin. We saw the last one so that's enough for us.
