Above are some photos of flowers in our yard that I took between April 4 and April 12 in 2008. Except in 2007, which was very rainy, we had beautiful weather for the first 12 or 15 years after we moved here. Then for the past 5 years or so, the weather has been less than beautiful. I hope we might be going into a new and better weather cycle now. Last summer was very hot and far too dry. We have optimistically had our vegetable garden plot tilled up and hope to have a good garden this year. And I hope we'll get to enjoy some flowers like the ones above.

That old car used to be out on the edge of the vineyard. It was towed away a few years ago. I wonder how long it had been there.
