These are some April skies over the Renaudière vineyard outside Saint-Aignan (Loir-et-Cher) in photos I took in 2008. The Renaudière vineyard is on high ground on the left bank of the Cher river, 25 miles south of Blois and 35 miles east of Tours.

DeleteSky is something, when you think about it. I remember the first time (obviously, as a little girl) that I looked up and saw the clouds moving... I was kind of shocked! I remember being kind of panic stricken and asking my mom why the sky was moving.

ReplyDeleteThank heavens (pun intended!) for all the varieties in the sky! Your sky photos would be fun to see in person. When I play pickleball (I usually only play outside at one of my neighborhood parks), I am usually making comments to my playmates to look up at the sky. There are so many different formations and colorations to enjoy. This week, I've been inside and not playing because of heavy winds, very cold weather or lots of rain. But...forecast is to perhaps see 70 degrees shortly.
