I hope your beautiful flowers will remain...And I think it is very unlikely you or Walt will get this virus and even if you did, you are both very healthy with your excellent food and habit of long walks and you would come through it very well. I hope it turns warm again so you can work more on your garden! Stay home and be well!
They are saying now that our confinement (lockdown) will in all likelihood last until April 28. So it's a good thing we canceled our vacation rental in the Baie de Somme region, which was to run from April 18 to 25. Now we'll have plenty of time to get the garden whipped into shape.
Your white viburnum are gorgeous, Ken. I chose to have three beside our turn-around near the garage at one of our previous homes. I don't remember such healthy looking blooms as yours, though! Lovely plants and I don't recall every having to fertilize or prune - I just always looked forward to seeing them bloom!
Exquisite photo! My husband (who has cancer and thus is VERY touchy about the virus situation) has been going on about how the peak is coming in the next days. At his insistence, I did my first shopping trip since before the lockdown. It was weird, like a bad movie. It's snowing here, but the line went outside. It almost NEVER snows here in Carcassonne.
Sorry to hear about your husband. He's right to be extra careful. Snow in Carcassonne — that is strange. Hope you didn't have to stand out in the weather for very long.

DeleteLove your photo today! It is calm and beautiful - more please.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo -- really clear and so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteApril 28th seems a long way off. We are probably in the same boat here. Let's especially enjoy our gardens this year.
