Chaumont-sur-Loire et Blois

Everything is going along fine as far as my eyes are concerned. I'm still recovering and I'm putting antibiotic and anti-inflammatory drops in my eyes six times a day. So I'm staying close to home and just walking the dog for exercise and otherwise just resting up.

Meanwhile, the small city of Blois, which was a royal city in centuries past and is now the administrative capital of the département we live in, is only a 20-minute drive from the Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire. Blois is where I had my cataract operation 48 hours ago, but it was not in a neighborhood like the one you see in the picture below. It was in a modern medical park on the eastern edge of the town.
