Au revoir, Chinon

I'm leaving Chinon for now. I now have another reason to hope for some nice springtime weather in a few months. The reason is a trip to Chinon to see the place again and take some more pictures.

  1. Yes, spring will be here before we know it.

  2. I want to return to Chinon too. You didn’t ask me Ken but I’m freezing in Florida. It’s 46 degrees. 😊

    1. Our afternoon high here was 39 F today. It's supposed to be about 25 F tomorrow morning. After that, warmer.

  3. Yes, I am FREEZING (21 degrees F.) this morning in Oregon! Trees are leaden with frozen rain. My 19 steps up to my carport were swept of snow and then scraped from ice yesterday by me. Today, more snow (dusting, only) and more freezing rain. City is CLOSED, requesting no one to venture out without studded tires or chains and they prefer we stay in. No bus service, very little emergency services available. My daughter has lost power along with all neighbors on her street. She does have a gas stove for cooking and another one for heating so they are ok. I have underground utilities so I never have had a problem with my power here. Stay safe and warm everyone who is experiencing winter problems.

  4. In case you all were worried, it's 58 here in Los Angeles. But it's 14 degrees in my home town of Dallas. Thinking of all the critters outside and people too. Hoping their electricity stays on.

    1. 58 degrees sounds wonderful! We are to get another storm coming in tomorrow (Tuesday) but then on Wednesday it is to be in the 50's here as well! It won't melt in my neighborhood quickly, though, as we are on a hillside covered with big Douglas Fir trees. Too much shade, so maybe I can leave my home on Thursday... crossing my fingers!
