Feuilles jaunes, et pluies

We've had somewhere between 75 and 80 millimeters (just over 3 inches) of rainfall over the past two weeks. That is on top of 100 millimeters (3.75 inches) over the last two weeks of October. Total: 180 millimeters (nearly 7 inches). Enough already.

I've just done some more research. According to the same weather site that says we've had nearly 80 millimeters of rain over the last two weeks, down near Angoulême they've about than twice that much rain down around Angoulême, where we went on vacation in early October, over the same time period. I wonder how they are holding up down there, about 125 miles south of us. Here's a link to some photos of the area where we went on vacation in October.

    1. On YouTube, you can find clips of Yves Montand and also Patachou, as well as Françoise Hardy, singing Le Feuilles Mortes.
