Interesting to see Walt with the chateau - it gives you an idea of the scale. The simplicity of the facade masks how really big the place is.
I read somewhere that there are seven bedrooms in the château de Bouges, each with its own bathroom.

I think it is limestone. It was quarried around the village of Villentrois, which is not much more than 10 miles east of Saint-Aignan.
