Valençay : le parc animalier

Ducks, geese, peafowl, chickens, goats, turkeys, and a guinea fowl... All in residence at the Château de Valençay.

    1. Don't know. But I know goats are intelligent and friendly. They're a lot like dogs, I think, in behavior.

    2. Goats are probably smarter than a lot of people, and if you have them anywhere there's feed stored for other animals, such as a horse barn, be sure there are sturdy locks on the containers.

  5. All the animals seemed to be interested in the photographer! You managed to capture them in all of their finery!
    The peacock was splendid and I love those goats!

    1. I took some of those photos in Sept. 2005 and others in July 2011. The animals at Valençay are used to people and pretty tame.
