Statues statues, statues...

...at the Château de Valençay. I took most of these on one August day in 2011.
They can speak for themselves... or maybe not.

  2. The only statue I recognize is photos #2 and #3, It is a copy of a Roman marblelo statue of Diane chasseresse which is in the Louvre. Shouldn't #5 have a bra?,

  7. Exquisite, every one of them. I worry about the deterioration of the first statue. I wonder if there’s any way to protect an outdoor statue to prevent further damage from the elements.
