Brrrrrr!! Its 8.00 pm here in Melbourne and still 20 degrees and a low of 19. I actually like a snuggle under the doona but not for a month or two yet Ken.
Hi Pauline, early afternoon here and our snow is melting but there is still quite a bit of it. I need to take the car out tomorrow so I'm hoping for a total thaw.
I like the watercolour effect on the third picture... very nice. When the snow melted through the rain gauge it recorded 3mm. Equates, I think, to 3cm snow... but it never got that thick as it was melting all the time...
Tim, when I get a slightly blurry picture because of low light conditions, often I can rescue it by carefully applying Photoshop's "dry brush" filter. I think that's what it's called. In French, it's pinceau à sec.
We got a little more snow overnight, but not much. And it's warmer than it was yesterday morning, so the melting is under way.
Carol, sorry to be so silent. Look for an e-mail today.
Same ici... and still coming down... in fact the flakes seem to be getting bigger!!
ReplyDeleteActually it has now started to come down very thickly... Have a nice Bakin' Monday, guys.
ReplyDeleteSame here. Maybe we'll get to try out the snow shovel we bought last month.
ReplyDeleteHow unusual, you have snow and we don't - 600 miles further north!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pretty but it's such a pain in the proverbial that you're welcome to it !!

Almost all snow gone now and it's just above freezing.
ReplyDeleteOh, my! This is one of those winters! It does look very pretty out there, though :)
