Il est cinq heures...

...et Saint-Aignan s'éveille. Le soleil ne s'est pas encore levé. Nous avons rendez-vous en ville et nous allons quitter la maison dans quelques minutes. A suivre...

At 8:00 a.m., we are back at home, the first part of our mission accomplished. It's a busy day. More tomorrow.

  2. Went to the train station to pick up or drop off someone?
A nice long walk with Callie before the heat kicks in?
Went into St. Aignan before the traffic picks up?
Went to the bakery for fresh bread?
Where can you go - round trip - before 8 a.m.?

  8. Man oh man, last time you were mysterious about special missions, you got married! Picking up a baby this time? *R*R*R*R*

It's got to be either bread (a strong possibility with the bread lady en vacances) or train.

  9. Has it anything to do with S... going back to England and taking care of things for her? Is she leaving her dog behind?

  10. With a "nous", I guess it is not a train station because only one person can go.

Did the two of you go to a special nursery to pick up a fruit tree for your garden ?

Two pairs of hands are required and it is more appropriate when road traffic is light.

Now you are planting it before the sun gets too strong .
Pl take a pic of Walt enjoying his Rosé next to the tree :-)

  11. I'm not even guessing and will wait till you tell us tomorrow. But 'la piste du train à prendre' seems the most plausible. Martine

  12. Saint Aignan was packed this morning for the bread pick-up. Did you guys take out a table/share a table for the vide- greniers? Selling family treasures?

  14. Well, spelling checker is not my friend. It won't let me type the French word for suspense...c'est la vie!
