Bricquebec : restaurants, cafés, et vieilles pierres
The town called Bricquebec, with its ancient château, is just a 20-minute drive northeast of Barneville-Carteret. That puts it less than 40 minutes southwest of Barfleur, and at the geographical center of the Cotentin peninsula.
The photos above show parts of the château that remain standing there after more than a thousand years.
I don't remember having lunch or dinner in any of these establishments, but they looked attractive.
As I've said to Walt, before, about scenes of Paris, I'm so glad that these scenes you're showing are familiar to me, and not just something in a fairy tale land in my head. Even though I haven't been to this town itself, it reminds me of ones I have visited :)
The walled cities and small cafes are so wonderful, wish I was there again.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was there, too.

ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting place. Lots of history on that Normandy coast.
ReplyDeleteWould love to visit. Thanks for the photos.
