Of course, it's not always sunny at the beach. I took these photos on February 21, 2016 on the beach near Morehead City. That was a Sunday, which might explain why so many people on the beach despite the fog. According to this weather records site I found, the high temperature that day in Morehead was 66.5ºF — that's 19ºC. Not bad for February.
Even in the 60s F, you've got to bundle up by the ocean... so much wind, always!
