I don't remember ever seeing such a sign in California. But they used to be all over the place in Paris and elsewhere in France.

DeleteSurely, without any visible punctuation.... the first sign actually means "Don't mow!"
ReplyDeleteI'm lost, Tim. Are you talking about PELOUSE INTERDITE? It means keep off the grass. Mowing has nothing to do with it. What am I missing?

ReplyDeleteThere are several of the doggie markers in my neighborhood. One neighbor painted her marker white. I also see five gay pride signs on my daily walks. And now Juneteenth is a federal holiday, surely our worst days are behind us.
