This seabird is headed away from shore. Those are its tail feathers that you see, not its beak.
The weather here continues to be very pleasant — it's shirtsleeve weather. But the internet connection continues to be lousy. We had a repairman out from the phone company this morning, and he spent a good hour working on it out at the various switching boxes in the complex. Despite that, the connection is painfully slow... when it works at all.
Sorry about your connection. Hope it will be better soon. Phone companies are probably more interested in giving money to their investors than invest it in maintaining their aging lines!
ReplyDeleteI've never had such trouble with MA's internet connection in previous years. I'm sure you're right about it being an infrastructure issue. It's very frustrating. The connection here is at least 10 times slower than the one we have in France.
DeleteFor three days I've been trying to download a 282 MB file. The browser tells me it will take 23 hours to download it. Then the operation fails after an hour or two with less than 1 MB actually downloaded.
DeleteSorry for the IT problem, it sounds like they need a new line. Glad you are able to send us daily photos to feast our eyes on!
ReplyDeleteBon voyage, tomorrow! Have a pleasant and safe trip back home to Walt, Callie and Bertie. Meilleures pensées à MA.
DeleteThe bird in my photo is flying off toward the southeast. Tomorrow I'll be flying off toward the northeast.
DeleteSafe travels, Ken.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jan.
