I was going to say thistle seeds but you would be rid of a thistle.
What Tim and Madonna said — it's the thistle that we call an artichoke.
Andrew... it is a thistle... a posh person's thistle!!
Ken, which camera... you've got some lovely detail in the first picture?
I took that first photo with the Lumix TZ60. That's the camera with the MOS sensor. It's not the one I use the most, which is the older TZ18 with the CCD sensor. I'm learning to use and appreciate the newer Lumix camera.
Choke as in artichoke?
That's right. It's the choke of an artichoke flower that stayed out all winter. I thought it was pretty.
Pretty, and it looks so soft!
Fantastic
I agree with Tim, both pictures are really crisp. Lumix is a great brand.
The first photo was the "new" Lumix, the TZ60. The second photo was the "old" camera, the TZ18. I'm glad to have both cameras.
Very interesting, and excellent photographs :)
I didn't know for sure what it was but just looking at it made me want to sneeze :)
My first reaction was "milkweed," and now I'm wondering if they're related.
What's on your mind? Qu'avez-vous à me dire ?
