Here are a few close-up photos of different varieties of grapes that I took yesterday morning in the Renaudière vineyard, on the outskirts of Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher.
Growing and ripening conditions are nearly perfect for grapes right now.
We're having cool nights and mornings and very warm, sunny afternoons. Everything is very dry.
The vendanges or grape harvest should start in a week or two. You can click or tap on the photos to see them at full size.
The color of the grapes in the third photo is remarkable.
ReplyDeleteI love those blue grapes too.
DeleteLovely pix...
ReplyDeletebut how are you?
Much better. Hardly any pain now. Just waiting for the "rash" to clear up and still taking it easy. I hope it will soon be completely over.

ReplyDeleteGreat photos. And the grape bunches look so incredibly healthy.
ReplyDeleteGrapes must be pretty adaptable to come on as usual after an unusual spring and summer weather-wise. They are quite photogenic, too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos! Fall is on the way.... Glad to see that you are feeling much better!
