Blue skies and high clouds. That's a plum tree on the right with the dark red leaves. The bare patch
where the big juniper bush used to live is starting to fill in with grass and other ground-cover plants.

The big cedar tree on the left above isn't really leaning like that. It's just an effect of the photo.
That's wild that no one knows who owns that land.
ReplyDeleteohhh LOL.... no pun was intended
ReplyDeleteThat wild area is very good for wildlife, especially birds I think. Our weather has warmed up also. April seems chillier than usual here.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the wooded and overgrown areas are good for wildlife. The problem here is that the trees are falling on our fence and damaging it. In theory, the owner of the property, whoever that is, is supposed to keep it cleaned up. We had a very nice afternoon today. I went out in shirt sleeves for a walk with Tasha at five o'clock.
DeleteMaybe that land is an easement owned by the power company or such. Just a wild guess.
ReplyDeleteThe mayor thinks she knows who owns it, but she doesn't know how to contact the owner, or even if he's still living.
