Good to know your tablet works for blogging. I'm going to take a short trip to NYC without my laptop soon and see how I do with my iPad. I'm sort of addicted to my laptop.
I'm just reading the comments now - and I realized that no wonder I was thinking where exactly in Paris does CHM live that has architecture like that? I've visited Arras and loved that Grand Place that is so much like Bruxelles!
Maybe I should rethink my plan to buy a laptop and perhaps I should be looking at ipads! You're a good salesman, Ken!
Hi Mary, Where I live in Paris doesn't look like Arras at all.
My iPad and I have a hate/love relationship. Apple bult in so many unexpected hurdles that it is much more difficult to operate than a laptop. And you need a laptop to communicate with your iPad in many instances. In my opinion, it's not an either/or proposition.
CHM and Ken: I have a desktop now and I wanted to replace it with a laptop but lately I was thinking perhaps a tablet would suffice. That's where I was coming from. I've never owned any Apple products - although my daughter and former husband have made the switch and rave about Apple.
Arras in the Pas-de-Calais (if I remember well)? How nice to just have a tablet to carry around instead of a laptop. Have a wonderful time with CHM!
ReplyDeleteBonjour au cousin et bon sejour a Paris
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely photo, wherever you are and however you took it...have fun.

ReplyDeleteYou'll probably prefer the tablet once you get used to it.
