We worried all through the darkness and cold of December and January. What would February be like? Even colder? Snowy? Just as dark?
Well, that didn't turn out to be the case. High pressure built in over Europe, east of us. That has given us clear skies and a warm southerly flow of air coming up from North Africa. Here's what sunrise has looked like recently out our kitchen window. The sun comes up before 8:00 a.m. now.
For comparison, look at this snowy photo Walt posted a year ago. (I was in North Carolina at the time.)
This is such a beautiful sunrise! The colors are a delight.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a gorgeous photo. I liked the look of the snow, too, but this is so pretty. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a view you have every morning! This one is especially fine.
