When the plane I was on took off last Friday from Paris CDG airport,
I had an unexpected view of one of France's best-known lankmarks.
The tower was quite a distance away and I had to zoom the lens fully
to get this kind of photo. It's not very clear but does it matter?
I love it when that happens.
ReplyDeleteFor a number of year now, I have been booking aisle seats so I can stretch my leg. Consequently, I do not have the opportunity to look out the window and be rewarded with such a sight. Great photo, nevertheless.
ReplyDeleteI try to get a window seat on the way from France to the U.S., because the flight unfolds entirely during daylight hours and I enjoy the views. On the back back to France, an overnight trip, I try to get an aisle seat.
DeleteI think the lack of clarity and the clouds make it more interesting, actually.
ReplyDeleteI should post the original photo so you can see how far away the tower was. Besides, the full photo also has the magnificent Tour Montparnasse in the frame.
DeleteI would like to see the original photo -- great suggestion. It's amazing how well you can zoom into things. Very cool :)

i always look but never see anything recognizable flying in or out
ReplyDeleteIt is more like an impressionist watercolour.
ReplyDeleteA bit of serendipity for us all.
ReplyDeletemy sincere condolences, you never ever get over the loss of a loved mother, the only consolation being the memory of her love which you can never forget and which remains with you daily, just remember the fun, laughter and above all the love that made you.
