The weather has turned cold again and the sun shines brightly in a clear sky. Yesterday I put my little camera in my pocket before I went out for my daily walk with Callie the collie. I took some pictures, and here are some examples. As I've said before, you have to take advantage of these mornings, especially at this time of year.
You never know when you'll get to see the next sunset. It might cloud over for days or weeks on end, blotting out old sol and plunging us into a gray and dreary existence. Hope you are having a sunny morning...
The second shot is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love the last picture, with the pink clouds just lifting and fading away. Promise of a lovely day to come. P.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots Ken! It is going to be sunny here, but on the cool side.
ReplyDeleteFoggy here and cold, but Auburn is going to get a chance to win another football championship for the state of Alabama in Pasadena- so all is well.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos Ken! We are having a bit of frost, so I am trying to copy the photos you and Walt have been taking of it…..
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking your camera with you on your walk, today! Lovely vistas you have been enjoying.
ReplyDeleteUs Eugeneans are enjoying frigid (low 4 f. this morning) temps but snow is still clinging to my Douglas Firs and the bright blue sky makes up for my being home-bound on this hill since Friday a.m. with 8 inches of snow!
Poor cold Yankees!
ReplyDeletewow! agree.. the 2nd one is amazing... great work!
ReplyDeleteI am being drawn into your world via this blog which I've just today found via Nina Camic's blog. Your photos are stunning, your whole world is stunningly beautiful and I am green with envy - you seem to live in Paradise. When you mentioned going for a walk with "Callie" - I had a little jolt and then saw that Callie was a collie! We have two collie dogs here in Salem, MA, but yours looks more like a border collie... can you elaborate on her?
ReplyDeleteYes, Callie is a nearly seven-year-old "red" border collie, born in France. She's a very sweet dog.
