The news here in France mostly has to do with the weather these days. There's flooding in Brittany and there are avalanches in the Alps (two skiers were killed yesterday). We've been having heavy downpours of rain over the past few hours. The noise woke me up a couple of times during the night. I can hear a hard rain falling right this minute.
She's probably thinking, "Here's that crazy guy taking my picture.... again!"
ReplyDeleteWe had very heavy snowfalls in the Swiss Alps on Wednesday and Thursday, and when were skiing yesterday the avalanche risk was considerable. The main pistes are much less as controlled avalanches are triggered by explosions before the slopes open. I wonder whether the skiers ventured too far off piste to take advantage of the great powder conditions.

ReplyDeleteWe had a dreary, wet and windy day and night, but the sky is blue today. It was even bluer earlier this morning. The tree branches are still.

ReplyDeleteEllen, we haven't had any more leakage in the kitchen ceiling. And we had a deluge this morning, with big puddles around the house and yard where we almost never see puddles. We've had a month's worth of rain over the last few days. It's still raining now.

ReplyDeleteOur Rosie's eyes are the same color as Callie's which look yellowish at times. We're getting rain today also, but not in bucketfuls I hope. Glad the roof is holding up!

Being owned by a girl collie and a boy collie dog, I really can appreciate a beautiful dog like Callie. It is amazing how their furs stay clean-looking even after lots of inclement weather and mud. Same with my doggers.
