It was about 8:30 a.m. when I arrived at the bridge. I took hundreds of photos, actually. You can expect to see more the them here over the coming days and weeks. You can click or tap on the images a couple of times to enlarge them to full size.
I would So much rather do my shopping this way than to a big supermarket like they have here. I enjoyed my shopping so much more in BA for that reason. Of course, France probably wins the best grocery market shopping prize :)
ReplyDeleteThere are only two downsides to doing your shopping in an outdoor market: bad weather and long lines at each merchant's stall. If you run into both and have to stand outside in the rain or cold for a long time at each stall, it gets discouraging. We have certain vendors that we are willing to suffer that for, but not all of them have good any better than what you find at the supermarket, where prices are lower.
