Here are a few random photos of the gîte we rented in Mortagne-au-Perche. There were five of us and there were three bedrooms as well as two bathrooms. The living room was not gigantic, but serviceable. Same with the kitchen. It was very private and just five minutes by car from the center of the town.
Ken, you wrote yesterday "I guess I'm posting too many pictures these days. "
ReplyDeleteNot for me you ain't.... you have travelled all over France and personally, as someone now unlikely to ever leave this little district, you can't post too many.
Your's is my third stop when I get up... weather, news, blogs... with yours being the first one.
It is like having a travel/food/life documentary to read and allows me to vicariously visit parts of France I'll not see!!
Keeeeep on truckin' man... keep on truckin'!
Thank you, Tim. I'm not sure I'll ever do so much touring around again either.
ReplyDeleteThese photos bring back so many good memories! One of my favorite memories is of you and Marie sharing your photos with each other each day at the dining room table. Staying in rural gites are so comfortable. I also remember those delicious tomatoes! My photos are stored on our computer which I can no longer get to work so these are really nice to see again.
ReplyDeleteDo you have a laptop? I could send you the photos on an SD card if you can read it.
DeleteI use a MacBookAir.What I need to do is get some help to get the old computer going again. My phone photos are backed up.I really enjoy the photos on your blog.
DeleteI enjoy your blogs enormously like your first commentator. Reminds me of France in our youth. Thank you! Pats.
