  2. That's a great photo of wisteria, light, and shadow. Your wisteria has draped itself in such a graceful way. It looks young and harmless.

Of course we know all wisterias, no matter how innocent looking, have world domination in mind.

    1. The wisteria is young and harmless. It doesn't have boards to send runners and roots up into. The advantage of a house made of concrete.

  3. Thanks for the wisteria pics. They are my favorite flower, along with bearded iris. Yours looks lovely against the house.

A few years ago we visited Longwood Gardens outside Philadelphia, where I discovered they also come in white.

    1. Hi Diogenes,

Among some others, we seem to have also the same taste in flowers: first bearded iris, then wisteria and, close third as far as I'm concerned, scented red peonies.

No blooming wisteria yet in NoVa! We're having a very late spring.

    2. LOL peonies are another of my very favorite flowers, pink in particular.

  4. Glad you're enjoying your new camera :)
I think of all of these as purple or lavender flowers, though? not blue?

  5. There is nothing like wisteria for beauty and scent and being a pain in the neck :)
The one we have here, was growing over the roof of the pool house, which was starting to groan with the weight, so we had it cut back ... way back. By the end of the summer, it will be huge again. I wish I was there today ... ciao from a very gloomy NY State.
