These are our neighbors' goats. These are
chèvres, not
boucs (in other words nanny goats, not billy goats). They are not so aggressive. Why are they looking away rather than looking at me and the camera? Because they are keeping an eye on 'Tasha the Shetland sheep dog...
I'm having computer problems this morning. I hope I'll be able to fix them and able to blog tomorrow.
Sorry about the computer programs. That's a great photo of the goats' looking at Tasha. I'm glad she can't get in that fenced area- those goats would surely take care of her with their horns and back legs.
ReplyDeleteAre these the goats that attacked Walt? Those horns are scary!
ReplyDeleteCan’t imagine 10 hours of constant rain.

Enquiring minds here want to know too if one of them was Walt’s nemesis.
DeleteNo, the goat that attacked W. belonged or belongs to the woman who lives across the road from the owners of the goats in my photo, three houses down from ours. It was a billy goat and was not only more aggressive but also had horns like these. Having been up close trying to keep him from pushing his way through our front gate to wreak havoc with us and our yard, I know he was a dangerous animal. These two nanny goats are well fenced in and haven't caused any trouble.
DeleteI bet they make good lawnmowers!
ReplyDeleteHoping you are able to fix your computer problems... I have faith in you! :)
ReplyDeleteI never think about goats being nanny or billy, even though I've heard both terms ... duuuh.
IT always tells me to reboot my computer and that apparently is supposed to solve everything. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI restarted my laptop three or four times yesterday morning after the screen suddenly went dark, but to no avail. Finally I closed it up and prepared myself for a trip to the local computer store to see if somebody could fix it. After 10 or 12 minutes I decided to turn it back on and see what happened. It started! It seems to be working fine this morning.
DeleteThank goodness for that!
