Sunny days are not the only benefit we derive from clear skies. We also get moony mornings. In fact, the moonlight is so bright in the middle of the night that when I look out the window I have the impression that streetlights have been put up in our neighborhood.
I took the photo of the big orange moon from the bedroom window on Easter morning at about 7 o'clock. The other two, showing the moon over the Renaudière vineyard, are photos I took on Easter Monday morning at around 7:30 when I was out walking with the dog.
fantastic moon
ReplyDeleteWhopping supermoon shots...
ReplyDeletewas the orange caused by the Lunar eclipse over the other side of the world... or just camera settings?
Tim
It was really orange like that.
DeleteHaven't you ever seen an orange moon? Weren't you up early enough Sunday morning to see it?
DeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos today! My first time hearing the term "moony mornings", thanks for that.

DeleteYou are a wordsmith, Ken!
DeleteDid Callie bark at the moon, as usual? Or was she still fast asleep when this orange moon appeared in the sky?
ReplyDeleteOh she barked at it all right. Probably woke up the neighbors, and on a holiday Sunday morning.
