  1. Beautiful sky. Looking at all those rows of vines makes me wonder if wet years make good wines?

    1. Diogenes, wet years don’t make for good wines. Actually, a record breaking hot summer with very little rain like that experienced in 2015 in the Okanagan Valley BC produced the best wine of that vintage. Especially, Syrahs and Cab Francs. Unfortunately, in January 2024, an unprecedented freeze with -23ºC (-9º F) temperatures killed 97% of the vines in the valley. Who knows how long it will take for new vines to produce good wine. C.
