Incapacitated

Over the past five or six days, I've been having more and more severe arthritis symptoms in my wrists and fingers. I can just barely type on my laptop's keyboard, with a lot of pain. I can't really use the mouse to select, crop, and edit photos. It's as if the pain I was having in my knees a few weeks and months ago has migrated to my wrists. I'll come back to the blog when I can. Wish me luck. Ken

  1. My goodness, I hope you are getting successful medical treatment and resting your wrists and fingers. I take anti-inflammatory supplements in hopes of keeping healthy. Tumeric, Ceylon Cinnamon, etc.

  2. Poor you, that’s not much fun. I hope you can get a doctor’s appointment quickly (not always easy these days) and get some good pain relief and treatment. Meanwhile, I’ll miss you. Take care.

  7. Oh, dear, Ken! I hope you get some answers about this, soon (without having to deal with that obnoxious woman again). I’m wondering if this could be some kind of a result of like a tick bite that you didn’t know you got? Or something like that?

  10. Ken, I would strongly advise you to examine your food intake and cut out any foods that exacerbate your condition. Consider following some anti-inflammatory vloggers on YouTube with information on what to eat and what not to eat in a short format. Many are professional dieticians and doctors. It’s also important to do some gentle movement exercise like yoga or Tai Chi to lubricate your joints. I wish you well. C.

  13. If it's arthritis, some relief is possible with medication (as noted by someone else above). Here in the Northeast USA, we are experiencing West Nile virus which is carried by mosquitoes and also lyme disease carried by ticks (noted by Seine Judeet). Both can be debilitating. My son had lyme disease in his late teens, and it was awful. He had to advocate hard for testing which finally revealed the diagnosis he suspected. I hope you get relief soon.
