I took these pictures of butterflies between May 15 and May 23 in 209. A butterfly in French is un papillon [pah-pee-yõ]. A moth is called un papillon de nuit (a night butterfly). One movie that I enjoy watching now and then is called Le Papillon (2002).The lead role played by one of my favorite French actors, the late Michel Serrault. If you can find a way to get it, you might like watching it. I wonder if it might be available on Apple TV.
Le mois de mai, c’est le mois des roses en plus d’être aussi le mois des papillons. The film might be available on YouTube? Nice photos.

I found it on Amazon Prime, under The Butterfly and under Le Papillon, but listed as "not available". So, not available maybe in the U.S.
ReplyDeleteI like your photos with daisies and insects best. Now we all want to see that movie again! lol
ReplyDeleteThe 2002 Le Papillon is available on Kanopy, the streaming service from our public library (San Mateo County and many others in the U.S.). And the Gulf Fritillaries have arrived in our garden.-- Chrissoup
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris. I've looked at the Kanopy site but I'm not sure what other libraries are subscribers and make it available to their readers.
DeleteKen, Kanopy has a "Find Your Public Library" map for US libraries that are subscribers. If you need a starting point, try "Glen Park." https://www.kanopy.com/en/signup/find/publiclibrary -- Chrissoup
