In the vineyard, grape leaves are growing, growing, growing, and the colors are pretty. And so are the grape flowers that will become bunches of grapes, below.
And all around the vineyard, flowers are abundant. I took some photos yesterday, but I haven't had time to process them yet.
The reason for that is a computer problem: the laptop I use for composing blog posts is acting up this morning. I can't get it to start up and I don't know what's wrong.
Your laptop is tired and wants Sunday off!
ReplyDeleteAnd that last's a lovely picture of Ragged Robins!!
Thank you, Tim, for the Oeillet des prés. At first sight, I thought it was bleuet!
DeleteAt first sight, also, I thought the vine flowers were those of the robinier faux acacia, black locust for the American readers. That’s when I found out I should have put my glasses on!
After second examination, I was right about the Black Locust.
DeleteIt's very strange. I spent hours trying to repair Windows and getting it going again, without success. I tried everything. And then about 10 minutes ago my installation of Windows 10 starting working again. The computer re-started. Everything seems fine now. I think a Windows Update caused the problems, and they've now fixed it.
ReplyDeleteCe ne sont pas vraiment les joyeusetés de l’électronique! Everything is taken for granted and it doesn’t work. But you’re savvy in things computer. Think of the regular people like me! my Gmail messagerie had been blocked since the first of April (mauvais poisson!) and it’s only a few days ago tht my friend Catherine was able to give it back to me.
DeleteComputers are great until they aren’t. Beautiful flowers.

I can't imagine my life without my laptop (or iPhone)- that's sort of sad, but true. Glad your laptop is running again. It is truly amazing how quickly those vines grow. Bon Dimanche.
ReplyDeleteAll of these photos... such a nice reminder of the joy of seasons after winter :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you got your computer working!
