I was walking out to see the new vines that have been planted on a three-acre parcel of land about 500 meters from our house. Above right is a close-up shot of one of the new vines planted a few days ago.
Beautiful photo...all I could think of was...Morning has broken like the first morning.....Blackbird has spoken like the first bird.

Have there always been forest fires like these in Canada? I never heard about them if there were.
DeleteYes, forest fires in Canada are as common as in the US but almost nothing about Canada is ever reported on US news. Until recently, that is. 😊🇨🇦

P.S. I think most Canadian forest fires are started by lightning.
