It's a good thing I went grocery shopping yesterday. The roads were dry and frost-free. I came home with a lot of food for our daily consumption. It was and still is very cold outside. We might be holed up for a while.
Early this morning when I went downstairs to let Tasha out to pee and poop, I was surprised to see an inch or two of snow on the ground. Yesterday afternoon was sunny, and when the sun went down we had no reason to expect overnight snow. It has stuck to the gravel driveway on our property, which means it has probably stuck on the paved road we take down a very steep hill to get to local businesses and nearby towns to do our shopping.
Today I'm posting a few photos of the freezing fog we had the day before yesterday just to continue working with the ergonomic mouse I ordered last week and received Sunday afternoon. So far so good. I haven't yet taken any photos of this morning's snow because it's still pitch dark outside.
I’ve taken over 500 shots, mainly macro….. and the cameras are ”locked & loaded” for today!!
ReplyDeleteRe: your new mouse not having much effect, is your armrest set right, it needs to be around 1/2" above the desk surface.... also, the effect isn't instant, and it might be more painful in the short term; my wrist was.... it takes a while to adjust to the new "handshake" position after a lifetime of "pushing a toy car" around.... stay at it!!
The frozen fog makes for nice photos.

ReplyDeleteI hadn't realized you had a steep hill on your way into town. I visualized you were in a rather flat part of France! Stay in until it melts and please watch out for black ice should you venture out! I still haven't taken the time to search for a "vertical mouse" to relieve arthritic wrists. I have a friend who retired from being a dental hygienist and she often experiences arthritic pain in her hands. Frosty plants are really spectacular parts of the winter scene - your photos show them off!
