It was our first December in our new house in France. Foggy days reminded us of San Francisco. Snowy days... well... we hadn't had those in years, because it never snows in SF.
The sunrises and sunsets could be spectacular. We've had these views from our windows for 19 years now.
We had been here for 6 months. We had been busy cleaning, furnishing, and decorating the house. We roasted a turkey for Christmas. That was December of 2003.

I have that same Eiffel tower lamp from Target. Who knew nineteen years would fly by like that?
ReplyDeleteI never before knew where that Eiffel tower lamp came from. MA found it at a yard sale in Morehead many years ago and gave it to us as a gift.

ReplyDeleteNo, that sofa went the way of all old furniture nearly 10 years ago. We replaced it with a similar sofa in dark blue. I did like that brown one though.
