I recorded the TV coverage of the Tour de France riding through Saint-Aignan last Thursday July 1. I haven't had much luck processing and posting the video, but I have grabbed some "snapshots" from it. Here are four aerial views of the Château de Saint-Aignan. I've stylized them because they are small images that don't fare well when I just enlarge them. Using Photoshops "dry brush" filter improved them, I think.
Great aerial views. The dry brush treatment makes them unreal. At first, before reading your text, I thought it was some kind of “mini chateau” rendering.
ReplyDeleteBetter an effect than a plain old blur.
DeleteThis morning, I used a “new & improved” tablet and, of course, everything is changed. In trying to get out of your page, I copied twice my text prepared in Notes. I hope I won’t copy it again after this!
ReplyDeleteDid you get a new iPad? Or is the new one an Android? I cleaned up your dupicate comments.
DeleteNo, it’s not a new iPad, it is one that is more up to date and it is a mess. In addition to a different keyboard (still English) my browsers are changed too. I’ll nave to go back to the old one I’m used to and use this one only when I have to.
DeleteJusr to give you an idea : the keys on the keyboard are LOWER case and are upper case when you shift. How srupid! Et tout à l’avenant!
Very nice aerial shots of St Aignan. I’m catching up on your posts because I’ve been away and I really enjoyed the descriptions of your restaurant and bnb meals. They make me miss France so much.
ReplyDeleteCool effect on the aerial views, Ken!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I can now see why you and Walt had commented before on your desire to see the aerial view because the chateau had not been open to the public. I would never have imagined from the views available to me of the structure of that inner ccourtyard and the feeling I now have of a village on top of the hill.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the wonderful pictures.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I have been watching and enjoying The Tour!
Wonderful pictures, they have a watercolor effect. So interesting to see all the interior spaces and support buildings in addition to the main towers.
