Yes, this the right blog. And this is Callie the border collie, who has lived with us for nearly seven years now. We brought her home at the beginning of May in 2007.
Callie's domaine is the Renaudière vineyard. She explores it twice a day, sniffing all around for traces of deer and other wild animals. And once in a while she gets to chase a deer. A chase from time to time keeps her alert and hopeful.
You and Walt used to always have a different color for your blog background... now that it's the same color, and you both have an old-stone building(s) for your header (of course, his is Chambord, I know, but the coloring is similar to yours :) ), at first glance I sometimes forget which blog I'm on. Now... you give us a Periodic Puppy Pic. And a pretty yellow flower... and Walt's page has pretty yellow forsythias on it.... you're making it hard for us early-morning readers ;)

ReplyDeleteHow is her relationship with Bertie these days?
Still trying to chase him off the property , in/out :-)
There has been a slight improvement in the cat-dog relationship, but no breakthrough.
ReplyDeleteNice picture of Callie. Just getting caught up after some time of not blog-reading. I see that there was some tornado activity in Morehead City; hope all is OK on that front.
ReplyDeleteHello Emm, I just checked some stories on the Internet and don't see any specific tornado affecting Morehead City, even though one article had a Morehead City dateline. The tornadoes seem to have been west and north of Morehead, around the Greenville and Edenton areas. I haven't gotten any phone calls. I'll check in with my mother in a few hours.
ReplyDeleteI probably saw the same stories you did; the MC dateline caught my eye. Glad all is calm.
ReplyDeleteMA said the weather in Morehead was beautiful over the weekend. No tornadoes there.
ReplyDeleteBon sang, faudrait p't-être que j'imite Callie et me mette à courir pour faire de l'exercice ;-) !!!
ReplyDeleteHas she ever caught one?
