What a sunrise for a Christmas morning! Peace on Earth! It's what we really need, indeed. A bit everyday, and very slowly, I'm looking at your old photos albums, season by season, year by year.Magnificent! Thank you.
I thought of you and the meals that you write about as we cooked single dishes and ate them all day...sort of like tapas. It was marathon eating...but in modest amounts so it was very pleasant.
Happy holidays, guys. Your Gratin Dauphinois was the hit of our dinner on Tuesday. If only I could remember to put a cookie sheet under the baking dish...
It certainly looks peaceful in your little corner of the Loire. A very happy Christmas to you, Walt and Callie!
ReplyDeleteA happy Christmas to you, Walt and Callie!
ReplyDeleteToo bad about your phone! :(
At least the Internet connection is working, which I find strange.

Merry Christmas to you, Ken, from Waco, Texas.
ReplyDeleteJust got back from my weekend away. We were wondering why we didn't hear from you. No phone is a pain, but I'm glad that otherwise, things are ok.
ReplyDeleteWe had a good time. Weather cooperated. Look for photos sometime soon. Joyeux Noel to you and W!
