I start the day at this vantage point most mornings nowadays. I sit facing my laptop computer, which is on the coffee table in the living room, with a mug of tea in my hand as I sort through pictures and try to come up with something interesting to put on this blog. Blogging has turned into a way of life for me. In my photo, that's the kitchen on the left (yellow walls) and the landing at the top of the stairs that we climb to go outdoors (or just into the utility room, garage, or greenhouse in winter).

Home! We have a rug like that one.
ReplyDeleteWe bought the rug above when we arrived here in 2003 and we were figuring how we would arrange things in this house. I believe we were still waiting for our container-load of furniture and other things to arrive from California. Those were exciting times.
DeleteLovely setting :) I remember when you two put in that wood staircase!
ReplyDeleteYou do a good job finding interesting stuff for us to read. Now I'll have a mental image of your work spot.
ReplyDeleteYour house is so charming; inside and out. C.
ReplyDeleteWe really like this house and just wish, at this point in our lives, that all the rooms were on the same level and that there were no steep stairs to climb 10 or 12 times a day.

DeleteYou absolutely picked a very attractive home! So, that's the sequence of events to find the blog topic each day! I always wondered what that would be like to have the responsibility of keeping up a blog!
ReplyDeleteHey! It worked this time and I haven't done anything differently! (Mary)
ReplyDeleteThat's how it goes with Blogger. It takes a lot of patience to wait for bugs to just disappear. I picture so-called software engineer pressing a button to fix some error that has been reported. He or she clicks a button or link on the screen and all of a sudden numerous other errors and blockages go away.
DeleteWhat a charming view to have while you are creating (Mary).
ReplyDeleteSee above, Mary. I'm glad to read you again.
