For today, a Thanksgiving season photo from 2012. More tomorrow of the 2025 lamb roast we ordered from the butcher in Saint-Aignan. I picked it up yesterday without a hitch. It's beautiful.
Lamb sounds awfully good, but we're sticking to the traditional turkey later this afternoon. Norma cooked the 20-pounder overnight, stuffed with dressing. I'm about to peel potatoes which will be mashed and served with turkey gravy. We'll also have roasted vegetables, pureed squash and turnip, cranberry sauce, and homemade dinner rolls. Apple pie and vanilla ice cream round out the dessert. Happy Thanksgiving to you, Walt, and all your faithful readers.
I can't wait to see the roast lamb and all the fixin's on your Thanksgiving table! I'm glad that you are excited about how it looks, already :), and glad you two aren't sick with colds this year. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING
