The city of Bourges, the center of a metropolitan with a population of 85,000, is about two hours east of Saint-Aignan in the historical Berry province. It's well worth a visit. The town's major landmark is its remarkable cathedral. Here are a few photos I took there 15 years ago using a Panasonic Lumix TZ3 camera. As usual, you can click or tap on the images to enlarge them.
Beautiful photos. I spy CHM.
ReplyDeleteThe gardens are as beautiful as the church. Nice to see chm!
ReplyDeleteSo so so nice :)
ReplyDeleteAt first, I thought, "Oh, cool, you caught a priest, in white garb, in the garden, in your photo,:) " Then I realized it was chm LOL . :) That's good, too!
So beautiful!

Here is the comment I never had a chance to post:
ReplyDeleteThe Lumix was an excellent camera for details and colors. Excellent photos. I was also using a Lumix to photograph this beautiful yellow rose. Nobody saw me putting my foot in the plate-bande. There was no “keep off” sign.
I appreciate your blog post about Bourges, June 2008 (1). Your travel experiences are captivating. It's like discovering hidden "deals of america" in the form of beautiful memories and unique moments captured in your photos and stories.
